Workshop: Techniques for Developing Distributed Applications

This one-day workshop will explore a variety of techniques for developing distributed applications on the Internet, including examples of applications in agriculture and natural resources.  Techniques will include Java database connectivity (JDBC), distributed objects (COM, RMI and CORBA), Extensible Markup Language (XML), and object design techniques using Unified Modeling Language (UML).
